This was easy to follow. I’ve just created my first web page. How do I create a background colour that is separate to the text box background colour? – Spenc
Good question. When I build I think in layers. In this I would first consider the sequence of steps necessary to get the results I want. OK so you want a colour behind a text box. Action: in top menu go to Insert/Shape/square. Adjust the size, location and colour. Now insert your text box. If you selected the square after your text box the square would appear on top of the text box – not so good. This is an example of how layers can work for you or against you. Hope that helps.
