What is RSS?

RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication". It is a way to easily distribute a list of headlines, update notices, and sometimes content to a wide number of people who request this information. Once a person has set up the RSS feed alters to new information that they have requested is sent to their email address.

Really Simple Syndication (RSS) is a simple way for a person to monitor fresh web content. RSS feeds highlight new material so you don't have to repeatedly check a site for updates. When new information appears on mySiteWizard.org , our corresponding RSS feeds are updated and your RSS reader alerts you of the new content.

RSS feeds are usually identified by the following button Typical RSS button because they are distributed in XML (Extensible Markup Language) format.
